Whether you’re enjoying a meal out, hitting the dance floor, or having a relaxing staycation, we hope you have a fantastic bank holiday weekend. To help keep everyone safe, here are a few simple reminders:

Please drink responsibly and know your limits.

Officers will be out on patrols, both in uniform and plain clothes, to help keep our pubs, clubs and bars safe and enjoyable for everyone.

If you’re driving, thank you for doing so responsibly. Officers will be taking action against dangerous driving, including speeding, driving under the influence, and using mobile phones behind the wheel.

Keep a close eye on your belongings, such as bags, wallets and phones, and keep them with you at all times.

Stay with your friends and look out for one another.

We want everyone to enjoy themselves and make great memories for the right reasons. Our officers will be out and about—please feel free to say hello. If you need us, call 101, or in an emergency, 999.
